I am a conduit.

I was trained in Reiki, starting in 2007. I had just retired from a 21-year career as a realtor… and knew I was to start another chapter of my life. I happened to have a Reiki treatment quite by chance (I was scheduled for a massage but the masseuse didn't show, so I was offered Reiki instead). I was surprised at how much the Reiki practitioner could tell about me! I enjoyed it, and appreciated the spiritual aspect of it. I decided then and there, I wanted to learn it! I completed Level I, II, III, Advanced, and Masters in Usui Reiki, by the end of 2008.

I give Reiki treatments hands-on, or with my hands slightly above the body, in my home studio here in Cordova Bay. I also receive messages for the client, from their 'Guides'.

Directly after the Reiki Master's certification was completed, my 'third eye' really opened up. I was able to 'hear' things in homes… homes with 'ghosts'. They communicated with me, told me why they were there. And I was able to help them 'transition'. Past energy in a home or on land, can often be negative energy… it's stuck!

It goes farther back than this. When I was young, I was a very sick child. I spent many days in bed, or in the hospital, being ill. I didn't have friends for years, I barely was able to spend time with my family! It's amazing I passed my school grades! But I did have 'Beings of Light' as I called them, surrounding me. They would come and comfort me. They would give me short messages of hope. And of course, I thought that was normal for everyone! I guess not! I have learned there is a term for it… 'the wounded healer'.

Since I was 16 and meeting the spirit of Jesus in a dream, with a message from him of what to do… I have had dreams and visions come true, for myself and others. I've been able to discern 'light' and 'dark' energy. I've 'seen' some of the future. I was 'told' by my Guides to open a weekly coffee house for those living on the streets in Calgary, when I was 16. So I did. We named it 'The Burning Bush Coffee House', and held it in the basement of a church. Out of that, came Calgary's first Mustard Seed, plus 4 others, including another building in Calgary.

You never know how far the roots will spread, when you plant a Seed.

So I listen. I listen to what I refer to as my 'Spirit guiding me'. I listen to my intuition (not always — I'm still human!). I get guidance to help others settle the Energy in their homes and bodies. People have called me a Healer. I don't call myself that. I believe the Universal Energy is working through me, to restore people's bodies, homes, pets, even restore the furniture.

I love this work! I feel I am doing what I'm 'meant' to do. And I feel I must continue my journey… as it has been given to me as a gift, to share. So I do. This website will give you a guideline of what I offer and how I work.

Volunteering

• Reiki treatments and Animal Communication to the working horses at VTRA (Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association) each week for the past two years.
• Reiki treatments and Animal Communication to both dogs & cats at two Animal Rescues in the Victoria area.
• Reiki treatments and Animal Communication to dogs & cats at Animal rescues in Mexico (WetNoses Rescue & Salty Dog Rescue) over the past year, and going back again this year!(One dog in particular at Salty Dog Rescue was a distemper survivor, and days away from dying.  Compassionately given Reiki, completely turned his life around!  Now thriving in Canada)

I am also a Laughter Yoga instructor. I am an avid swimmer, love walking our three amigos (dogs), yoga, dancing, kayaking, listening to music, painting rocks, and hanging out with friends. I don't want to miss a moment now! Peter my loving husband of 23 years and I (met first at ballroom dance) enjoy taking care of our half-acre… creating beauty with plants, flowers, veggies, and fruit, and a Cottage in the back. I'm the proud Mom of twins (Jonathan & Jaqueline), who are thriving with their own partners and their own lives. For that, I am truly grateful!
