Our pets can speak to us, but not in language we fully understand. I have been able to communicate with animals, or maybe I should say, they communicate with me. I have been able to aid them in their healing, on both a physical and emotional level. Many pets I have dealt with, have trauma from their past, which affects their view of the present day.
I work much like a counsellor. I walk with them, as they process their thoughts and emotions, so they can break the cycle of fear, aggression, timidity, being shut down… and physical limitations too. Of course, I know my limits. Veterinarians, pet acupuncture treatments, pet chiropractors — they heal with their knowledge and valued training. I work on a spiritual level.
But one thing I think is very important, is for the animal to have surroundings in which they can continue to flourish. Unfortunately I have helped animals but they've gone back into a broken situation, and their healing does not hold. I do highly advise a better situation for healing, and will suggest it if I deem necessary.
I also offer Reiki for animals. Once my son and I witnessed a Robin come back to life with a short Reiki treatment!
A story
A breeder asked me to visit her litter of beautiful 3-week old purebred pups. One was born with a twisted spine. When I saw him, he was in the shape of a 'J', his back was twisted and he dragged his legs to get to his mom to nurse. He was so tiny! I held him in-between my hands, and did Reiki and prayed for him.
The next day the breeder called me to ask me what I had done to the dog. Yikes — I hadn't told her what I had done! She said he was completely fine, completely 'normal'. No issues. He had an overnight healing! And he was the first to run in a litter of 8! Long story short, he became my dog. An x-ray taken 2 months before he died of old age showed his spine was still completely straight! The good vet couldn't believe it. She had originally suggested the pup would not survive. But he did!
I do believe in miracles…
